Who are we

We are the Christian awareness initiative of Nigerian (CHAIN), A Christian non-governmental organization.

As depicted by our acronym CHAIN, which interlinks and binds, our aims and objective are;

•Promoting and educating Christians in all spheres of human endeavours.

•Raising up Godly Christians morally, socially and educationally.

•Equipping the society with Christian teachings.

•Sensitizing Christians to the importance of voluntary service towards community development.

•Educate Christians on health, environment, cultural, political, social, professional, inter and intra religious issues by organizing workshops, seminars, conferences and trainings.

•Creating awareness on the evils of women and child abuses, danger of maternal and child mortality, trafficking in humans and general apathy to civic responsibilities.

•Assisting the indigent people in the church and the society at large.

•Encouraging society achievers and organizations to contribute meaningfully towards the development of Christianity in our society.

•Partnering with government at the federal, state and local government levels in Nigeria towards achieving the set out millennium development goals.

•Partnering with the three tiers of government and all relevant stakeholders in achieving sustainable peace in the Nigerian society.

•Offering Godly, unbiased and untainted advices and criticisms to the three tiers of government in Nigeria as tokens to averting, forestalling and arresting civil/religious unrests as pre-emptive measure in safe guarding lives and properties of the general Nigerian citizenry.

•Educating local and international communities of the true picture of political, ethnic, religious or any other happenings within Nigerian without bias and or falsehood

•Soliciting for Christian prayers and understanding especially of the sectarian persecution of Christians in Nigerian and support for Christian victims in the advent of losses of lives and properties.

•Soliciting for instructional/logistical materials or equipments and other aids for churches and other Christian organization to support them in their teachings and evangelism.

Our vision is to

•Continually awaken and ginger up Christians in Nigeria to their spiritual and civic responsibilities to God and the society.

•Arrest and re-channel Christian resources both materials and human from been wasted on destructive worldly vices to the most edifying service to God and humanity in Nigerian.

•Entrench awareness as an indispensible companion of Christians in their daily lives.

•God's people perish or are destroyed for lack knowledge (Hosea 4:6). So continual trainings and refreshment in the knowledge of the things of God as they relate to the spirituality of individuals and society are tasks the CHAIN is poised to achieve.

•Strive to eliminate or minimize ignorance from within the Christian mould

•Promote tolerance and understanding among ethnic and religious groups.

•As the world is full of vile moral vices; we shall stand for the truth; honesty, courage, accountability and braveness.

Strategy

To enable us achieve our set out goals and objectives, we shall adopt various methods in executing our programs. Such methods include;

•Outright teaching in churches, Christian gatherings, schools E.t.c

•Organizing of seminars, workshops, conferences and summits

•Use of audio and visual instructional materials and reach out.

•Use of the electronic and print media to highlight the Christians' position(s)on various matters as need be.
